Everton
Football Club have made the Following Announcement Regarding Season
Tickets 2009/10
Season
Ticket Sales At New High
Everton's
season ticket total has hit 26,423.
Bobby
Elstone says: "This is further fantastic news for
the Club. We were pleased to surpass our Season Ticket target
in July and wholly expected that figure to grow before the game
against Arsenal.
To
reach this new landmark, I think, shows that we got our offers
right. We wanted to give supporters a wide range of options to
make finding the money for a new Season Ticket that little bit
easier. We were confident the number of schemes we introduced
did that and these figures are the reward.
That
so many supporters will be able to enjoy the benefits of a Season
Ticket during the coming campaign can only be good news. A full
stadium is what we strive for and the aim of the team on and off
the field is to ensure that Goodison Park is as busy as possible
each time we open the turnstiles.” (11/08/09)

Following
consultation with supporter groups, the Blues have opted to make reductions
in all areas of the stadium; and, as in previous seasons, will ensure
further value by including an early bird offer.
That
means supporters will be able to take advantage of an additional 10%
discount on the standard price, as long as they make their renewal/purchase
ahead of the 18 April deadline.
The
key message in this year’s campaign is making football more affordable
for families with significant savings to be made for both adults and
juniors in the Family Enclosure stand.
Chief
Executive Robert Elstone says: “Pricing our Season Tickets
is one of the key challenges we face, juggling the need to generate
increased revenues with the requirement to maintain a genuine, ‘value
for money’ deal and this year has been particularly tough considering
the economic conditions we have all been subject to in recent months.
“We
feel we have found the right balance in this year’s offering and I am
confident, having benchmarked the new prices, our supporters will feel
we are delivering ‘a very good deal’.”
“Key to the 2009/10 Season Ticket campaign is the savings we have been
able to offer in the Family Enclosure. We have recognised the need to
offer affordable access to our younger supporters and we believe a Season
Ticket offering Premier League football for less than £8 per game
is outstanding value.”

Mr Elstone added: “During the planning stages we were

which sit alongside the great new Family Enclosure deal, the early bird
