Jukebox has scored 6 goals in 9 games in his loan spell and his Motherwell strike partner, John Sutton feels the partnership can improve if the Everton striker extends his loan deal. Sutton says: "The longer you play with someone, the better relationship you form. It's been good, we have picked up a couple of wins but it would have been nice to pick up a couple more. Hopefully Lukas will be here for the year and we can keep playing together and score a few more goals and strike up a good partnership. You get to know each other's game a bit better and link up a bit better. Last week we didn't play so well so hopefully, given the opportunity, we can put things round." (12/12/09) Lukas celebrated his Scottish young player of the month award by scoring a late goal to give Motherwell a point. Jukebox says: "I was pleased to get the equaliser. I thought there might even be a few more goals in it. It was end to end stuff, and I'm sure the fans went home happy. It was a pretty intense game. There was a lot of big guys at the back for them, they have a big physical presence, but the game opened up a bit more after the sending off and it became more exciting for the fans." (07/11/09) Lukas has won the SPL Young Player of the Month of the month award for October. After signing on a 6 month loan deal with Motherwell, the 20 year old has scored 3 times in 10 games. Jukebox says: "It`s a nice bonus, I suppose as a striker you`re judged on how many goals you score so to that end it`s been a pretty good month for me.' (02/11/09) |
