League - The Format
The
UEFA Europa League 2009–10 is the new name for the UEFA
Cup. It will be in a new format to make it mirror the Champions
League. The final will be played in Hamburg, Germany on
Wednesday 12th May 2010, the home of Hamburg SV.

The
draw will take place at 12.30pm on Friday 7th August 2009
for the play-off round of the Europa League takes place
on Friday. Everton are seeded and will not meet teams from
the same country. The two-legged tie will take place on
